| The All-mode Multi-bander TS-2000 series firmware has been updated as follows.Kenwood is offering the firmware updating program to the TS-2000 series owners. |

Updates the following feature. |

Enables the backup of Auto Mode frequency points when Partial Reset is executed as well as Memory channel data or Menu settings. |

You can find the serial number imprinted on the rear panel, just below the ANT1 or ANT2 connector; it consists of an 8-digit number beginning with "S/NO." |

Users are required to obtain a license from Kenwood Corporation, in writing, prior to redistributing this software on a personal web page or packet radio. |

This firmware updating program cannot read and write user data (menu items, memory channels).
We are offering the Memory Control Program MCP-2000 Version 0.00 Beta for this purpose. |

When installing, running and uninstalling this program, you must have administrative privileges. |
|
The downloaded program is only available for owners of the TS-2000/TS-2000X/TS-B2000.
Even if the program is downloaded, it cannot be used by owners of the Japanese models TS-2000S/SX/TS-2000V/VX. |

| Installation : |
| 1. |
Extract the downloaded file "TS2K_109.zip" into a designated folder.
In the designated folder, a folder labeled "TS2K_109" will be created. |
| 2. |
Execute the Setup.exe file within the folder to begin installation. |
| 3. |
Once installation begins, follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation. |

| Click to read the firmware updating procedure. |
| |
| Uninstalling : |
| Select "TS-2000 Update" in "Uninstall a program" ("Add or Remove Programs" for Windows 2000/XP) in the Control Panel and follow the instructions that appear on the display to uninstall the software. |
