UBZ-LJ9 is a license-free PMR446 radio set. Compact, light and durable, it offers more range, more efficiency and more fun. That's something to talk about.
The handy UBZ-LJ9 radio set puts you firmly in control of your communications. It fits perfectly in your hand and is easy to operate. At just 138g, it is truly lightweight and fits comfortably in your pocket or on your belt.
The UBZ-LJ9 has a removable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1150mAh enabling an operating time of up to 18 hours (5% transmission, 5% receiving, 90% standby). It comes with a USB-C cable, meaning that the battery can be charged using either a USB power supply unit or a power bank. The batteries can also be charged when not in use in the radio. Replacement batteries are also available, giving you the option of charging these while the radios are being used.
With 500-mW transmission power, the radios have a range of up to 6 km*. The adjustable noise level block means that reception sensitivity can be adjusted and optimised.
*The range may be significantly limited depending on the environmental conditions (terrain, buildings, etc.).
When the radio set is turned on, the battery level and the channel currently selected are displayed for a short time. The battery level can also be viewed via the menu.
The practical KENWOOD system cable makes it easy to use optional audio accessories such as handsets, loudspeaker microphones and headphones.
The integrated VOX function in conjunction with a headset makes it possible to use voice controls for transmission. You can use the operating menu to set the response sensitivity in three stages.
Up to 16 channels in the PMR446 frequency range can be set on the radio set. This enables the UBZ-LJ9 to contact all commercially available PMR446 radios sets. In addition, when QT/DQT selective calling is activated, only subscribers with the same signal tone can be received or contacted.
Up to 20 different ringtones can be allocated to individual users. This makes it easier to identify users by their ringtones.
