Thank you for choosing the KENWOOD TH-F6/ F7 transceivers.
By utilizing this software, you can enjoy the versatility of the TH-F6/ F7 transceivers through the memory channel management and edit functions. If you do not agree with the details listed herein, please do not download the MCP-F6/F7 software. |

This software runs on Windows® 98, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000 (SP3 or later) or Windows® XP (SP1 or later) operating system. |
 |
To install this software, 1.2 MB or more of hard disk space is required. |
 |
Prepare the PG-4Y cable to connect the TH-F6/ F7 to a PC, for data communications. |
 |
Please turn on the TH-F6 /F7, now proceed to menu 9 SP/MIC JACK and select PC. exit the menu screen. |
 |
Turn the TH-F6/ F7 transceiver OFF before connecting it to a PC. |
 |
Users are required to obtain a licence from KENWOOD, in writing, prior to redistributing this software on a personal web page or packet radio. |
 |
Users may not assign, rent, lease, or resell the software. |
 |
Users may not revise, change, translate, merge, de-compile, or reverse engineer the software. |
 |
The quality and performance of the software is not warranted for the applicability of any users.
KENWOOD shall not assume liability for any defects, nor warrant anything other than is expressly provided in the agreement.
The selection and introduction of the products as well as the results there from shall be upon the liability of the users. |

Kenwood shall own all copyrights and other intellectual properties for the software and all manuals and documents attached to the software.
The user shall be allowed to use, not to resell, the software by obtaining a license from KENWOOD.
While the media in which the software is stored is possessed by the user, the ownership for the software itself shall be reserved for KENWOOD. |

| Installing the MCP-F6/F7 |
| Run "Setup.exe" and follow the instructions that appear on the display. |
Notes:
 |
The MCP-F6/F7 does not operate properly when selecting other models; you must select the correct model. |
 |
If you select a different model by mistake, re-install the MCP-F6/F7. |
 |
You must have an Administration license to install the MCP-F6/F7 to Windows® 2000 (SP4 and later versions) or Windows® XP (SP1 and later versions). |

| Uninstalling the MCP-F6/F7 |
Open the "Control Panel" and select Add/ Remove Programs", then follow the instructions which appear on the display. Notes: |

The created files using the MCP-F6/F7 are not deleted by uninstalling the software; you must manually delete any files that you created. |
 |
You must have an Administration license to uninstall the MCP-F6/F7 from Windows® 2000 (SP4 and later versions) or Windows® XP (SP1 and later versions). |
